Get your best friend ready for the 2nd annual WINE & WAGS event at GardenWorld Nursery in Hubbard this weekend! Saturday and Sunday, June 26-27, brings good wine, good dogs and good gardening to the Portland area.

ProGrass will be at GardenWorld this weekend with literature on creating pet-friendly landscapes, and chief horticulturist Steve Varga will present a FREE seminar on Sun. at 2PM on pet-safe ways to fertilize and control pests in your landscape.

Leashed pets are welcome at GardenWorld this weekend, and the nursery will have special deals on dog-friendly plants.

Several animal rescue organizations and shelters will be in attendance, including the Oregon Humane Society, with dogs available for adoption. Free seminars are happening, plus wine and food vendors, and a pet-friendly market place. Hours are 10-6PM both days.
