In the last of the series on eco roofs in Europe, chief horticulturist Steve Varga visits a lush, park-like eco roof on a private residence in Budapest, Hungary. This roof top garden features lawn, flowers and a wide array of trees and shrubs...all on the roof of a suburban house!

The roof installation features the Diadem system, and in the seven years since the roof garden was installed, the homeowner reports no issues with leaks. And, in that seven years, the garden has matured in to an amazing outdoor living retreat! Imagine relaxing in your backyard, surrounded by colorful flowers and butterflies fluttering by...except that you're 3 stories up!
