We control landscape weeds using the most effective and environmentally-friendly methods so your site can stand out proudly among your competitors.

• We remove weeds in landscape beds by hand. Depending on the severity of the weed growth, clients are given the option of treating weeds with a low-toxicity herbicide. A pre-emergent can also be applied to bed areas, preventing many weeds from germinating.
• We recommend treating weeds growing through hard surfaces with a low-toxicity herbicide, once they surpass a tolerable level.
• The installation of mulch to landscape beds each year is highly recommended to help naturally control weeds.
• Turf weed control is achieved by hand removing single stem weeds such as dandelions. When clover, oxalis and other creeping weeds are identified, clients are given the option to spot-spray with a herbicide. ProGrass prefers to spot-treat weeds rather than applying a blanket weed control over the entire turf area.
• Overseeding of turf areas every Spring reduces the quantity of undesirable weeds. The lawn becomes fuller and fewer of the weed seeds are able to compete, reducing the percentage of germination.
