HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM ALL OF US AT PROGRASS
WE THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR BUSINESS AND LOOK FORWARD
TO SERVING YOU IN 2005
Well, it looks like winter is here. Cold days, long nights and leafless trees. While most of us enjoy beautiful fall colors, the browns of dormant trees and shrubs often look a bit depressing.
That's why everyone enjoys the festive colors of holiday lights on your home and landscaping. But when the lights come down, the fun is gone. You can preserve that warm and inviting look with tastefully designed landscape lighting systems by ProGrass.
Our durable, safe low-voltage lighting systems provide lighted paths along your walkways and show off the beauty of your trees, shrubs and home. In contrast, inexpensive kits appear to be little more than unrepairable strings of lights.
To see how beautiful your landscape can be, ask us about a free no obligation landscape lighting demonstration. We'll set up a temporary lighting system in your own yard so that you can see exactly how it looks. Enjoy the system for a few days. And then, if you like it, we can design a system for you.
During the holidays, don't forget about your winter plant care. You may not be spending much time in your yard this time of year, but cold damp weather and plant dormancy demands some attention.
Read on to learn why things like pruning, tree and shrub dormant sprays, lime stone lawn treatments, and deep-root tree feedings are critical to a healthy landscape:
- Pruning reduces the chance of branch breakage and home damage. A properly pruned plant develops proper shape and will look better next year. Many shrubs need to be pruned back heavily in the winter to remove old growth.
- Tree and shrub dormant sprays coat trees and shrubs with horticultural oil and copper to protect them against overwintering insect eggs and disease spores.
- Lawn limestone treatments neutralize soil acids and allow fertilizers to work more effectively.
- Deep root tree feedings inject plant nutrients into the soil to improve plant health.
And, don't forget about those leaf-filled gutters. Prograss can help with the use of our gutter cleaning equipment. ProGrass gutter cleaning service reduces the mess made by splashing mud from overflowing gutters. The pounding overflow can wash soil and bark mulch away from roots of trees, shrubs and grass. So be sure to ask us for information on our gutter cleaning service.
