THE CHALLENGE
The Albo family wanted to increase their usable entertainment space but keep the existing mature trees. They also wanted an outdoor fireplace that guests could gather around.
THE SOLUTION
ProGrass decided to forgo equipment for the patio excavation as that could have damaged the roots of existing trees and potentially killed them. We hand-dug everything with care. An existing hot tub was relocated to make room for a custom fireplace and bluestone patio. A new bar with bluestone slab counters pulled the look together and created another seating area.
